Why are funny commercials the most memorable ads? Why are the funniest guys getting the most girls? Why are salesmen that can make their customers laugh closing more?
Laughter is a type of trance state.
Funny ads are always incredibly hypnotic because laughter is a very powerful state that our unconscious mind associates with feelings of fun, playfulness, detachment, openness, etc.
Laughter is powerful. If you can make the people you are trying to persuade laugh, they will automatically anchor those same positive emotions from laughter to you or your offer.
In short, find a way to MAKE EM LAUGH!
